Central Oregon Deck Builder & Remodeler
One family-owned crew building decks, remodels, and handling seasonal snow removal across Bend, Redmond, and Sunriver — with the local knowledge to handle whichever jurisdiction your project falls under.
Where We Build in Central Oregon
We focus on Bend, Redmond, and Sunriver — close enough to know each one well, rather than spreading thin across the whole region. Pick your area for details specific to it.
Bend
Established neighborhoods, HOA design review, City of Bend permitting.
Redmond
Wide-open, high-desert lots, new-construction growth, City of Redmond permitting.
Sunriver
SROA design approval, heavy snow loads, vacation-rental turnarounds.
Why Central Oregon Is Different
The High Desert throws the same handful of challenges at every town in our service area — we build for all of them, everywhere we work.
High Desert Climate, Region-Wide
Big daily temperature swings and intense elevation UV stress materials across Bend, Redmond, and Sunriver alike.
Heavy Winter Snow Loads
Framing engineered for the snow every Central Oregon town sees, not just the mountain-adjacent ones.
Freeze-Thaw Movement
The same seasonal freeze-thaw cycle across the region stresses fasteners and footings — our details are built to move without failing.
Multiple Jurisdictions, One Process
Deschutes County, the City of Bend, the City of Redmond, or SROA in Sunriver — we know the right approval path wherever you're building.
Wildfire-Aware Choices
For homes near the region's forested urban-wildland interface, we can discuss defensible-space-conscious materials.
Vacation-Home & Rental Market
A large share of Central Oregon homes are second homes or rentals; we build for owners who aren't always in town.
Services Across Central Oregon
The same craftsmanship and communication, wherever your project is.

Service Area & Regional Questions
The questions we hear most about working across the region.
What areas do you actually serve?
Bend, Redmond, Sunriver, and the surrounding Central Oregon area. Each has its own page on this site with details specific to that area's permitting and building conditions.
Do you handle both new builds and remodels across the region?
Yes. We build new decks, replace and repair existing ones, and handle kitchen, bathroom, and whole-home remodels throughout Bend, Redmond, and Sunriver.
How does the high-desert climate affect deck material choice regionally?
Across the whole region, intense elevation UV, big daily temperature swings, and freeze-thaw cycles all stress decking and framing. We spec UV-stable materials and engineer footings and fasteners to handle the movement, everywhere we build.
Do permitting requirements differ across Bend, Redmond, and Sunriver?
Yes — Bend and Redmond each issue their own city permits, unincorporated areas go through Deschutes County, and Sunriver adds SROA design review on top of county permitting. We manage whichever process applies to your project.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, financing options are available for qualifying projects. Visit our Financing page for details.
How far out do you typically book?
It varies by season — spring and summer are our busiest. We'll give you an honest timeline for your project during your consultation.
Choose the Payment That Fits
We could have signed with one lender and offered you a single plan. We chose a marketplace instead - one short form, a soft credit check that won’t affect your credit score, and offers from more than 20 lenders side by side in about two minutes. You pick the terms. The money goes to you, not to us, so you’re never locked into anything.
What Central Oregon Actually Requires
The published figures a deck here gets engineered against — not estimates.
| Location | Elevation | Ground snow load |
|---|---|---|
| Downtown Redmond | 2,962 ft | 15 psf |
| Downtown Bend | 3,694 ft | 20 psf |
| Eagle Crest | 3,346 ft | 23 psf |
| Tetherow | 3,854 ft | 24 psf |
| Sunriver | 4,206 ft | 44 psf |
There is no single Central Oregon snow load. Oregon determines it per site from latitude, longitude and elevation, and across the towns we serve it ranges from 15 psf to 44 psf — nearly a threefold spread inside a 40-mile drive.
Read this correctly: pg is the ground snow load, not the load your deck is designed to carry. Oregon sets a 20 psf minimum roof snow load plus a rain-on-snow surcharge, so a lower ground figure never means a lighter structure — it is one input among several. Permitting authority: Deschutes County and the City of Redmond. Snow loads from the Structural Engineers Association of Oregon lookup (PRISM Climate Group, Oregon State University), read 25 August 2026. Frost depth and soil bearing from Deschutes County design criteria. Always confirm current figures for your address with the authority having jurisdiction.
